Version 1.4 of the DASA DevOps Fundamentals Course Released
Joey van Kuilenburg / 26 October 2018
Better guidance for IT professionals to work in high performing DevOps teams – the DASA DevOps Fundamentals course just got even better.
The DASA DevOps Fundamentals course is a starting point for anyone going on a DevOps Journey. Those working in a high-performing DevOps team benefit from a key understanding of the principles and practices of DevOps. This essential understanding of DevOps is covered in this 3-day learning program.
Having certified thousands of IT professionals over the past three years, ITpreneurs is now introducing version 1.4 of the courseware to the market. This update covers over 100 improvement suggestions provided by dozens of trainers and candidates across the world. We can proudly say that we are living up to Principle 5 of DASA, and that is that we are continuing to improve our products.
Here is a summary of the major changes:
- The new DASA DevOps Certification Scheme has been included, including descriptions of all of the seven programs in the Certification Scheme.
- Additional guidance for trainers is provided for exercises and activities, ensuring the experience of exercises is improved.
- The content has been polished up, this means that definitions that were not clear have been improved, examples that were not understood have been updated, content that was redundant has been removed.
- Images, icons, and other media elements have been refreshed and updated where needed.
This update provides an overall better learning experience for learners. We are proud of this update, and appreciate the time and effort the entire community has put in to make this update possible.
We are now preparing for a major update, version 2.0 of the materials. This is expected to come in the first quarter of 2019. If you have further feedback, please share it through the DASA Trainer Cafe on Slack, a place where trainers come together to provide feedback (please register by contacting DASA at firstname.lastname@example.org).
